About the Role
As a Dishroom Attendant at Orlando Regional Medical Center, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Your responsibilities include loading and emptying the dish machine, hand-washing pots, pans, cooking utensils, and equipment, and assisting the kitchen staff as needed.
Responsibilities
- Remove waste and dispose of it properly; empty and clean garbage receptacles.
- Clean serving carts and the dishroom, including sweeping, mopping, washing walls, floors, and floor mats.
- Stock all dishware and glassware after cleaning.
- Perform closing duties as per established standards.
- Adhere to MSDS standards, safety protocols, sanitation, infection control procedures, and HACCP guidelines.
- Communicate relevant information about customer and department needs to management and team members.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.
- Capable of writing simple correspondence and responding to common inquiries or complaints.
