About the role

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, born from a small restaurant in New Orleans Mid-City neighborhood, operates two brands with over 20 restaurants throughout the Southeast. Our concepts, Ruby Slipper and Ruby Sunshine, bring the spirit and soul of New Orleans to brunch.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized
• Load, run, and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
• Maintain all safety standards
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently

Requirements

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• No restaurant experience needed

Qualifications

• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently
