About the role

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, born from a small restaurant in New Orleans Mid-City neighborhood, operates two brands with over 20 restaurants throughout the Southeast (and still growing!). Concepts include Ruby Slipper and Ruby Sunshine, bringing the spirit and soul of New Orleans to brunch.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized
• Load, run, and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
• Maintain all safety standards
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• No restaurant experience needed
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently
