About the role

We are seeking experienced US-based practicing physicians to contribute to an expert evaluation project focused on assessing commercial drugs and drug-development programs. As a Disease-Area Clinician, you will apply your clinical expertise to evaluate clinical trial evidence, interpret endpoints, and assess whether study results are likely to influence prescribing decisions and real-world adoption within your therapeutic area.

This opportunity is designed for board-certified physicians with deep expertise in a specific disease area and familiarity with pharmaceutical and biotechnology development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and critically review evaluation rubrics for commercial drugs and drug-development programs.
  • Interpret clinical trial endpoints, study results, and efficacy/safety data within your area of specialty.
  • Assess whether clinical trial findings are meaningful from a practicing physician's perspective.
  • Evaluate whether trial outcomes are likely to influence prescribing decisions and clinical practice.
  • Assess the potential impact of clinical evidence on real-world treatment adoption and utilization.
  • Apply disease-area expertise to evaluate multiple drugs and development programs within the assigned therapeutic area.
  • Provide clear, evidence-based reasoning behind clinical assessments and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other subject-matter experts to ensure evaluations are clinically rigorous, consistent, and grounded in current medical practice.

Requirements

  • MD or DO with active clinical practice in the United States.
  • Board certification in a relevant medical specialty.
  • Active, unrestricted medical licensure in the United States.
  • Deep clinical expertise in a specific therapeutic or disease area.
  • Current or recent hands-on clinical practice within the relevant specialty.
  • Familiarity with biotechnology and pharmaceutical drug-development programs.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trials, endpoints, treatment outcomes, and evidence-based prescribing.
  • Ability to translate complex clinical evidence into clear, structured written reasoning.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound clinical judgment.

Engagement Details

  • Role: Disease-Area Clinician — Trial Endpoints & Prescribing
  • Engagement: Paid pilot
  • Duration: Approximately 10-20 hours over a 1-2 week period
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Eligibility: US-based physicians
  • Potential: Strong contributors may have opportunities for recurring engagements as the program expands.

Contract and Payment Terms

  • You will be engaged as an independent contractor.

  • Payments are made weekly based on services rendered through available payment platforms.
