About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's database systems, ensuring data integrity and security. They will also provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain database systems, including SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Perform regular backups and ensure data recovery procedures are up-to-date.
• Implement and enforce security policies to protect sensitive data.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of database systems with other applications.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in database administration and management.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, and other relevant database technologies.
• Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clearance required: Top Secret with Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.

Pay

• $158,878 - $207,507 per year based on experience and qualifications.
