About the role

Food Production - Disassembly Skilled PR08 – Debone - Full-Time

Starting pay: $22.95/HR

Boner’s debone meat from hog carcasses.

Responsibilities

• Use knives and knife sharpening equipment
• Keep work area clean and tidy during production
• Recondition meat that has touched an unsanitary surface
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Monitor Critical Control Points (CCP) as specified in plant’s Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Plan (HACCP)
• Other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new team members
• Manual dexterity required for performing job
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions

• Normal for a manufacturing environment
• Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds
• Safety equipment required includes: steel-toed work boots, ear plugs, hair net, hard hat, beard net (if applicable), chain glove, chain sleeve, belly guard, cutting glove (knife hand), wrist guard, and smock
• Cell phones and jewelry are not permitted on the factory floor
