Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation and oversight to care programs and direct care providers.
  • Intervene as necessary to ensure proper placement and medical management of children with high medical needs.
  • Develop SOPs and best practices to ensure evidence-based healthcare for children with disabilities.
  • Assess grantee compliance with reasonable accommodations and access to services.
  • Collaborate with partners to expand services for children with disabilities in care and post-reunification.
  • Train staff and stakeholders on child safety and disability-informed practices.

Qualifications

  • MD, DO, NP, or PhD with an active clinical license.
  • 10 years of experience in disability services and complex medical needs.
  • Experience with compliance, accessibility, and child welfare systems.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
