About the role

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling the receipt of new cases, overseeing their processing, and interacting with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Handle receipt of new cases and verify information and requests.
  • Draft cases by entering information into the Dane Street system.
  • Work with the client to gather any missing information necessary for processing the claim.
  • Create a medical document listing as required by the client, adhering to specific special handling guidelines.
  • Maintain and track cases to ensure timely completion.
  • Assign/schedule new cases to physicians for review based on location, availability, guidelines, and client requirements.
  • Ensure assigned physicians have no conflicts of interest with the cases they are reviewing.
  • Update clients on the status of their cases and address any questions regarding referral information.
  • Ensure proper documentation for specified cases is provided to the client.

Requirements

  • Education/Credentials: An Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Good communication skills, critical thinking, time management, and computer literacy are essential.
