Director, Vendor Management

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Vendor Management to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This leader will oversee vendor management strategy and execution across a complex healthcare environment, ensuring third-party partnerships support operational goals and service quality. The role will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to strengthen oversight, improve performance, and drive accountability. In addition, this leader will provide executive-level visibility into vendor outcomes, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $148,000 – $274,200 annually Responsibilities Evaluate and support strategic vendor opportunities Lead stakeholder and oversight meetings with vendors Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations Facilitate collaboration between vendors and internal partners Monitor and report on vendor performance metrics Communicate expectations and vendor performance to vendors Manage vendor performance improvement plans and audits Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field 7+ years of vendor management experience Experience in government programs, healthcare, or related operational fields Proficiency in MS Project or similar project management software Skilled in MS Office applications Project management experience in the healthcare industry preferred Experience in training/education and statistical analysis preferred Benefits Competitive pay Health insurance 401(k) and stock purchase plans Tuition reimbursement Paid time off plus holidays Flexible work schedules, including remote and hybrid options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
