Director, Variable Delivery Projects
About The Role
The Director, Variable Commission Delivery is a strategicleadership position responsible for building and growing a dedicated VariableTeam. This team will deliver variable services for a key, top-tier globalclient and establish the necessary account structure. Acting as the primaryliaison between T&T, CBRE, and this global client, the Director will holdsingle-point accountability for client satisfaction related to variable T&Tcommissions, while also managing all internal T&T and CBRE mechanicsessential for exceptional service delivery and sustained account growth.
What You’ll Do
- Act as Key Account Director, accountable forvariable service delivery of Project Management (PM) and Cost Management (CM)services on the client account.
- Currently, the above will be tied to theAmericas market, but it will extend globally (inc EMEA & APAC) and intoPrincipal Delivery at an appropriate time in the client relationship.
- Build client and stakeholder relationshipsinpursuit of building T&T’s variable pipeline outside of the PMO.
- Act as the owner and client face of all variablecommissions throughout their lifecycle.
- Act as escalation point for all variable servicedelivery including troubleshooting of performance issues as and when theyarise.
- Build, lead and maintain a team of high caliber dedicated,variable Project Managers and Cost Managers across the Americas who can supportTop 5 global client as required by their business need(s).
- Ensure compliance with internal policies,contractual obligations and best practices throughout variable commissions.
- Work with PMO Regional Leaders, build and maximizeopportunity pipeline globally.
- Build and socialize variable pipeline with LMAsand regional TMT leaders on a regular cadence to ensure team visibility andavailability for upcoming commissions.
- Build and maintain internal relationships toensure T&T shows up in the best possible way with our client.
- Provide guidance, oversight and continuousimprovement in T&T bidding activity on the account.
- Accountable for Top 5 global client VariableP&L where the dedicated pool is delivering, including responsibility forbilling.
- Cognizant of financials where LMAs are leading,including rebate position.
- With support of the on-account ContractAssociate, lead the contracting, POs and billing between the client and internalgroups for variable commissions.
- With support of the on-account ContractAssociate, lead the intercompany contracting, invoicing and billing process forvariable commissions.
- Interface and collaborate with internal FinancePartners to ensure tracking of the global rebate position per the MSA wording.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-yearcollege or university in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, ProjectManagement, Real Estate) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in a leadership role managingcomplex client accounts and service delivery, preferably within real estate orprofessional services.
- Demonstrated experience in project managementand/or cost management services.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managingP&L and understanding contractual financial obligations.
- Excellent written and verbal communicationskills; ability to effectively present information to clients, internalstakeholders, and senior leadership; strong interpersonal skills for buildingand maintaining relationships.
- Requires knowledge of financial terms andprinciples, ability to calculate intermediate figures, and conduct basicfinancial analysis. Cognizance of complex financial structures and rebatepositions per Master Service Agreements.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpretcomplex documents and solve problems involving multiple variables. Requiresstrong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to learn and utilize internal projectmanagement and financial tracking tools (e.g., T&T Project Pipeline Tool);strong organizational and analytical skills with an ability to manage multiplepriorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentorhigh-performing teams.
- Provides formal supervision to a team ofdedicated variable Project Managers and Cost Managers, including hiring,training, performance management, and career development.
- May provide informal supervision and technicalguidance to co-workers within work units and/or projects, coordinating andassigning tasks as needed.
Pay
The minimum salary for this position is $220,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $240,000 annually, based on experience and the geographic location of the candidate. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program.
