About the role

The Director will collaborate with clients and internal project teams across the entire deal life cycle. They will provide financial and accounting related consulting services in the Corporate Finance practice areas, prepare, review, and evaluate historical and pro forma financial information, perform industry and company research, and support communication with clients and staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial and accounting related consulting services in the Corporate Finance practice areas
  • Prepare, review, and evaluate historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow and deal valuation
  • Perform industry and company research and assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
  • Support and direct communication with clients and staff members on engagements, while updating senior team members on progress and issues
  • Network and build internal relationships with members of the Transaction team and other FTI Consulting service areas

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Informational Systems, Economics, or related field of study
  • 5+ years of post-graduate combined professional experience
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
  • CPA Certification preferred
  • Experience with the financial due diligence process and financial modeling preferred
  • Client or industry experience in one or more of the following: Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Technology, Media, or Energy preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP and SEC requirements preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and full MS Office suite preferred

Benefits

Compensation range: $109,000 - $224,000

Pay

Minimum Pay: $109,000

Maximum Pay: $224,000
