About the role

We are looking for a Director for our Transaction Services group. An entrepreneurial spirit and wanting to be part of building a new practice within an existing successful firm will be critical to the success of this position. We are seeking self-starting, highly motivated individuals with a proven track record of success and a keen sense of dedication to high-quality client services.

Responsibilities

  • Managing client relationships
  • Coaching staff and coordinating services from other parts of the firm
  • Researching complex accounting issues and conducting financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and other transaction related services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required
  • Minimum 12 years of related experience; experience in a large public accounting firm preferred
  • CPA required. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in state of employment
  • Ability to analyze complex business and transaction situations
  • Previous experience supervising and training staff
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and marketing abilities are required
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally

Qualifications
