Director, TMET, USA

About the Role

As a Director for Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment, and Technology (TMET), you will drive growth across ANZ's Americas TMET franchise by originating and executing new business opportunities. You will leverage your sector expertise and industry network to develop senior client relationships, identify strategic opportunities, and position ANZ as a trusted banking partner to leading TMET companies. Working collaboratively with teams across Coverage, Transaction Banking, Markets, and other product partners, you will deliver tailored banking solutions that create long-term value for clients and support ANZ's growth objectives. You will also contribute market insights and sector expertise to shape the franchise strategy and deepen ANZ's presence in this strategically important sector.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute new business opportunities across the TMET sector, developing a strong pipeline of revenue-generating opportunities and new-to-bank relationships primarily across investment-grade clients.
• Build and deepen relationships with key TMET clients, including hyperscalers, data center operators, and other leading technology-focused organizations.
• Partner with Coverage, Transaction Banking, Markets, Credit, Risk, and Product teams to deliver coordinated client strategies and integrated banking solutions.
• Provide sector expertise, market intelligence, and strategic insights to support client engagement, business development, and portfolio growth.
• Support cross-border opportunities across ANZ's international network, helping clients access solutions across multiple markets and jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience within the Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment, and Technology (TMET) sector.
• Experience covering America's TMET clients, including hyperscalers and data center operators.
• Strong origination and client relationship skills, including the ability to build relationships across ANZ's network.
• Experience with Receivables Financing and Payables Financing is a plus.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Active deal generation and solutions orientation.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is US$ 265,000 – 285,000 annually. This range is determined by the job, location, and level of expertise required for this specific role. The final salary offered will consider your capabilities, skills, and knowledge.
