For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Director of Threat Modeling to lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategies for Log Management, SIEM, and AI-driven automation
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of automated workflows, SOAR playbooks, and response scripts
- Own the strategic vision and execution of the enterprise vulnerability management program
- Identify workflow gaps across IT operations to mitigate vulnerabilities
- Design and execute strategies to detect and mitigate insider threats
- Help cybersecurity teams adopt innovative detection techniques and algorithms
- Establish KPIs and operational metrics to quantify program efficacy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience (10+ years in Cybersecurity)
- Strong background in Incident Response, Digital Forensics, and Cybersecurity Program Management
- Experience in conducting hunts or incident response across multiple environments
- Practical experience in developing automated cybersecurity solutions
- Proficient in leading the entire lifecycle of security software and workflows
- Strategic vision for enterprise vulnerability management
- Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and ability to map events to tactics
Pay
$130,000 – $180,000 annually
