Director, Thought Leadership & Content Marketing
About the role
Uniphore is one of the largest B2B AI-native companies—decades-proven, built-for-scale and designed for the enterprise. The company drives business outcomes across multiple industry verticals and enables the largest global deployments. We're looking for a Director to own thought leadership and content marketing that positions Uniphore as the category-leading Business AI Company, right as the AI industry reaches a turning point.
This role sits at the center of how Uniphore tells our story—translating a complex, full-stack platform spanning data, knowledge, context, SLM models, and agents into content that resonates with both technical buyers and CXO decision-makers. You'll shape narratives around the structural barriers holding Enterprise AI back and how Uniphore's AI platform helps organizations move from AI experimentation to AI outcomes and value.
This is a strategic and hands-on role: you'll set the vision for thought leadership and POVs, build the editorial and content engine to execute it, and ensure every piece of content reinforces a consistent, category-defining point of view.
Responsibilities
- Create and own our thought leadership strategy and integrated marketing communications initiatives that directly influence pipeline per quarter and achieve leadership share of voice against key competitors.
- Develop unique, ownable research, including a digital benchmark assessment tool to stand out in the market.
- Lead executive audience content strategy by creating relevancy and engagement with CEO, CIO, CMO, and CCO audiences.
- Play a pivotal role in shifting brand perception of Uniphore from a conversational AI point solution to a provider of a differentiated AI Platform and Category Leader, contributing to company revenue growth.
- Define content strategy for how audiences consume information today across formats and channels for both human and AI-mediated discovery.
- Map content strategy to engage different audiences (prospects, customers, partners, press, investors) and shape it around their needs.
- Build a high-functioning editorial operation, ensuring voice and tone consistency across channels and elevating Uniphore's brand through high-quality, integrated content.
- Own the evolution of our brand voice, company writing style, and guidelines.
- Manage the editorial calendar across all owned channels.
- Oversee blog strategy, ensuring editorial voice, tone, and quality standards across all content.
- Develop an organic social strategy to grow market awareness, category ownership, and trust in our brand.
- Partner across marketing to align content with launches, campaigns, and revenue marketing goals.
- Build processes that streamline creation, increase output, and ensure cross-channel alignment.
- Manage and mentor a lean (but highly efficient) content team and agencies.
- Measure content performance and share insights.
- Set the standard for tone, storytelling, and clarity so every piece of content feels like one coherent experience.
Requirements
- 15+ years of content marketing or editorial experience, with a focus on B2B and AI tech.
- 8+ years of experience in building and managing high-performing content teams.
- Strong editorial judgment with the ability to establish and enforce high editorial standards and a consistent voice.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives that simplify complex topics.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to assess content performance and drive program strategy.
- Willing to flex across strategy and execution—this role requires a "do-er."
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance content workflows, from ideation to drafting to optimization, balanced with sound editorial judgment on when human craft matters most.
- Strategic thinker who can shape category narrative, not just execute a content plan.
- Understanding of how LLMs retrieve and cite information (conceptually—not an engineering role).
