Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for national and regional KOLs according to alignment set forth by the Executive Director, Professional Engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all functions are aware of key activities in relation to KOLs.
- Lead KOL strategy and engagement plans that deliver advocacy with key opinion leaders.
- Leverage cross-functional collaboration in identifying national and regional level thought leaders; including emerging leaders in Dermatology.
- Compliantly capture and report meaningful insights to leadership and other relevant cross-functional partners as appropriate.
- Make strategic, thoughtful, and compliant recommendations for advisory boards, speaker bureau, and other commercially appropriate internal activities.
- Aid commercial with regional and national KOL and emerging leader recruiting efforts for national meetings, training programs and headquarter interactions.
- Manage logistics, discussion topics and introductions.
- Excellence in cross-functional and compliant collaboration with all appropriate internal colleagues.
- Represent KOL and emerging leader engagement at congresses, ensuring cross-functional coordination and executional excellence that aligns with brand strategy.
- Build customer awareness of Arcutis’ commitment to advancing the treatment of patients with dermatologic conditions and diseases.
Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Prior experience in Dermatology is preferred.
- Marketing and/or sales experience a plus; Understanding of brand and franchise needs, including relevant scientific, medical, & policy-related matters related to this therapeutic area.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work consistently within Arcutis’ Operating Principles.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Proven relationship building skills, with proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with HCPs / Opinion Leaders.
- Proven understanding of key trends in both internal and external environment.
- Proven ability to build, maintain and influence effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including marketing, medical affairs, public relations & medical affairs.
- Proven ability to manage organizational complexities and breadth of issues.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Sound judgment in critical decision making.
- Excellent organizational and independent problem-solving skills.
