About the Role

As a Director you will formulate strategic recommendations and implement changes for clients by leading individual project modules and workstreams. You will apply commercial acumen to key analyses, connect findings to the broader business context, and share outputs with clients. The role also includes coaching junior staff and interns.

Responsibilities

• Lead modules of client‑billable projects or small workstreams.
• Structure problems, gather data, and execute analyses that drive insights.
• Leverage Excel and financial modeling skills to produce and sense‑check results.
• Synthesize and present findings in a clear, structured format.
• Manage project modules with guidance from senior team members, coordinating junior staff and interns as needed.
• Prioritize tasks, manage workloads efficiently, and communicate project status.
• Deliver high‑quality outputs within deadlines while working under pressure.
• Mentor and act as a role model for junior consultants, providing regular feedback.
• Contribute to intellectual capital such as white papers, points of view, client pitches, and proposals.
• Build professional and personal relationships with senior client teams and influence outcomes in an international, culturally diverse environment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of relevant post‑graduate experience.
• Prior experience in professional services, consulting, or investment banking with a technology focus.
• Ability to travel to client sites and FTI Consulting offices as needed.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis (no visa sponsorship).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration.
• Prior experience in management consulting or a professional services environment.

Compensation

Minimum Pay: $109,000 – Maximum Pay: $224,000. The range reflects potential base salary and is determined by market considerations, business needs, location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
