Multinational, innovative tech giant Pinterest is seeking a visionary leader to join its dynamic Ads Quality & Measurement TPM team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of advertising on the platform, ensuring both advertiser satisfaction and user engagement.
Team
The Ads Quality & Measurement team at Pinterest is central to the success of its ad systems, integrating machine learning, AI, measurement, and marketplace quality to enhance user experience and advertiser performance.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of senior TPMs and ICs to manage cross-org, company-level programs focusing on Ads Ranking, Match Quality, Whole Page Relevance, measurement systems, and platform investments.
- Set a clear strategy and vision for the Ads Quality & Measurement TPM function, translating business goals into measurable roadmaps and execution plans.
- Drive alignment across various teams including Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Go-to-Market to deliver complex programs that improve advertiser value while maintaining high-quality experiences for Pinners.
- Own the metrics and accountability framework for the portfolio, ensuring performance, relevance, experimentation, and delivery signals are aligned.
- Establish decision frameworks, manage dependencies, and increase decision velocity across executive and cross-functional teams.
- Embed AI across the organization to accelerate workflow, validate accuracy, protect sensitive data, and maintain quality and correctness of decisions and deliverables.
- Develop a high-performing AI-first TPM team through coaching, feedback, succession planning, and fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and equitable development.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical program management or related experience leading multiple company-level programs.
- Minimum of 2 years of people management experience, including experience leading senior TPMs, managers, or senior ICs.
- Experience leading large-scale programs in ads, marketplace systems, machine learning, AI, ranking, recommendation systems, experimentation, measurement, data platforms, or similar technical domains.
- Experience setting strategy for a technical function, translating business opportunities into clear priorities, measurable outcomes, operating mechanisms, and durable execution plans.
- Experience building accountability systems across teams, including metric frameworks, roadmap tracking, launch governance, dependency management, and executive-level reporting.
- Strong technical judgment and communication skills, with experience influencing senior leaders, aligning multiple organizations, and making thoughtful trade-offs on behalf of the business.
- Demonstrated experience using AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day work, with a clear approach to validating accuracy, protecting sensitive data, and remaining accountable for final decisions and deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent experience.
