About the role

The Surgery Director will oversee nursing staffing levels, scheduling, and assignments to meet patient care needs and budgetary constraints. They will manage nursing budgets, expenses, and resources effectively, optimizing cost-efficiency while maintaining quality standards. The role also involves providing clinical expertise, consultation, and support to nurses in complex patient cases or challenging situations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years nursing management experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active Montana nursing license
• AORN certification preferred
