About the role

Responsible for the Supply Chain organization for the Electronic Warfare Division of Spectrum Superiority (S2) of L3Harris Technologies. This division is primarily located in Clifton, NJ. The role oversees approximately $180-$200 million in spending managed by the supply chain team, including subcontracts, material planning, and supply chain program management functions. The total headcount is approximately 60-70 team members with 4-5 direct reports.

The leader will be responsible for staffing the supply chain team consistent with program and department budget plans. Development of the organization and upfront engagement with engineering and program teams to influence new product/program designs for an effective supply chain outcome are key aspects of this role. Driving productivity improvements (Supplier Quality, Cost, and cycle time) year over year is critical.

This role reports to the S2 Sector Sr. Director, Supply Chain Management and is a member of the EW Division Leadership team, accountable to the Division VP/GM and Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manages highly experienced professionals, managers, or teams led by supervisors or managers.
  • Creates and maintains workforce plans to ensure necessary support is in place to accomplish departmental business results.
  • Communicates with parties within or outside the organization on matters of strategic importance, including major customers and vendors.
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with internal leaders and supply chain partners.
  • Establishes direction for new processes, systems, solutions, and products using significant conceptualization, reasoning, and interpretation.
  • Owns and develops tactical and operational plans and goals for the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience.
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of degree, a minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Significant experience leading the acquisition of custom, complex Electronic RF assemblies.

Pay

The salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, and Vermont is $144,000 - $268,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
