Director, Supply Chain Management
JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Supply Chain Management (SCM) at Harris Health is responsible for leading materials management, implementing, monitoring, and assuring an integrated and coordinated supply chain management program. This role oversees purchasing, inventory management, and supply distribution. The Director also plans, directs, organizes, and coordinates these functions to ensure they align with the operational needs of the assigned pavilion within the Harris Health System. They are responsible for developing and implementing cost of service strategies and providing oversight of supply management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: BA/BS Business Administration with emphasis on Supply Chain Management or related fields required. Master's degree preferred. CMRP or CSCP certification highly preferred.
Work Experience (Years and Area): Seven (7) years' experience in Supply Chain Management, with at least four (4) years' experience in the acute healthcare sector.
Management Experience (Years and Area): Five (5) years' management or supervisory experience in Supply Chain, Healthcare, or Business Management.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact); Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking).
