About the role

The Director of Strategy & Operations will build, maintain, and scale Stepful’s surgical services programs. They will develop and execute innovative initiatives to accelerate enrollment, student retention, and program scale. This role requires collaboration across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams to ensure regulatory compliance and exceptional student experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end program delivery of surgical services programs, potentially expanding to other programs
  • Develop and execute innovative initiatives and experiments to accelerate enrollment, student retention, and program scale
  • Collaborate regularly with Curriculum, Product, Policy, Sales, and Customer Success teams to meet regulatory and client needs

  • Highly analytical, using a structured approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Expert collaborator who leads through influence and coordinates diverse stakeholders
  • Willing to go above and beyond to achieve successful outcomes
  • Quick learner through experimentation
  • 7+ years of experience, preferably in an operational role at a high-growth startup

Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or EdTech
  • Leadership experience in managing clinicians, program directors, or instructors
  • Experience with remote educational delivery methods
