Director, Strategic Sourcing

About the role

This role will manage sourcing and supplier priorities that improve value, reliability, and operational performance. You will partner with finance, operations, legal, and business stakeholders to negotiate effectively, manage vendors, and support better purchasing decisions. The position offers the opportunity to improve cost discipline, supplier performance, and the processes that support scalable execution within a Real Estate & Construction environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Support clients with the optimization of managed services operations and sourcing strategies
• Deliver insights on market, supplier, and operational performance
• Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals to execute strategic initiatives
• Conduct market trend analysis and present findings in a concise manner
• Oversee development and implementation of regional and national programs
• Guide supplier relationship management and performance programs
• Manage procurement processes and ensure compliance with policies

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with strong analytical ability
• Proven leadership experience in a decentralized environment
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 10 years of strategic sourcing experience; MBA preferred
• Experience in project management and business transitions is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office applications

Pay

$110,000 – $125,000 annually
