About The Role Flex is seeking an ambitious, results-driven Director of Strategic Partnerships to launch, manage, and scale our most complex, high-impact enterprise partnerships in the core rent vertical - including exploring new entry points for the rent consumer through new types of partnerships. This role is ideal for a driven strategic operator with a proven record of autonomously delivering measurable results through partnership growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, you'll play a critical role in developing and executing partnership strategies that directly impact Flex’s bottom line. This position offers a hybrid work environment with the flexibility to work remotely. Key Responsibilities Partnership Development & Launch Launch new strategic partnerships aligned with Flex's growth objectives, including higher-complexity deals that require independent judgment on structure and sequencingLead the creation of joint business plans, financial modeling, and growth initiativesDefine, implement and run winning operating rhythm to maximize valueCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Support and Legal teams at Flex and partner organizations to maximize execution and impact Partner Growth & Operations: Manage and expand relationships with Flex's largest and most complex strategic partners, fostering trust and long-term collaboration across the organizationDevelop clear paths to value for new types of rent partnerships, collaborating cross-functionally to test and learn and align on the best execution modelsBuild and deliver on your partnership business plan; independently drive progress on key partner initiatives, resolving issues and aligning stakeholders to deliver measurable wins, including with partners where the relationship requires more work to move forwardOwn day-to-day partner operations, ensuring smooth execution and communicationsDrive monthly and quarterly partnership business reviewsTrack, analyze, and report on partnership performance metrics, identifying and pursuing nuanced growth opportunities and areas for improvementDesign and oversee partnership GTM efforts working closely with product, sales and marketing teams Strategy Develop and implement processes and frameworks to manage partnerships efficientlyAlign partnership initiatives with Flex’s broader strategic objectivesProvide insights and strategic recommendations to continuously enhance partnership valueDrive partner contract renewal negotiationsNavigate partner relationship complexity, including competitive dynamics and broader partnership strategy Key Qualifications: 8-10+ years of relevant experience in FinTech/SaaS business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, investment banking, or top-tier strategy consulting rolesDemonstrated success independently launching and scaling complex strategic partnerships or managing high-value strategic client relationshipsComfort with ambiguity and the judgment to structure a path forward with less established partners or processesExceptional skills in cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and executionStrong analytical capabilities, with experience leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decisionsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, capable of influencing at senior levelsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple high-stakes projects simultaneouslyComfortable thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a proactive and flexible approachSelf-driven with an ownership mindset, committed to delivering measurable impact with minimal oversightBachelor's degree required Compensation The compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks. This is a commission earning role.
