Director, Strategic Finance - Venue Management

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Strategic Finance - Venue Management to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This leader will shape the financial strategy for a venue management business unit, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and helping guide planning decisions across the organization. The role will bring analytical rigor to budgeting, forecasting, and performance review, with a focus on turning financial data into clear business recommendations. It will also partner closely with finance, analytics, HR, and IT teams to align priorities and support strong operational and strategic outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $175,000 annually Responsibilities Serve as a principal financial advisor to the Venue Management leadership team Represent Venue Management's financial interests in corporate planning processes Bring analytical rigor to decision-making, assessing risks and trade-offs Facilitate alignment of priorities across finance, analytics, HR, and IT teams Manage the annual budget, forecasts, and strategic planning for the business unit Lead monthly reporting and variance analysis for performance insights Oversee the KPI framework to track and report on key financial metrics Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred Significant finance experience, particularly in FP&A leadership roles with senior executives Experience in private equity-backed or multi-site environments is preferred Background in venue management, live events, hospitality, sports, and entertainment is a plus Strong fluency in ERP systems, such as D365, and experience with implementations is a plus Executive presence with the ability to deliver candid financial assessments Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial data into clear narratives Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance Paid vacation 401(k) plan with company contributions Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
