Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial analysis and decision support for enterprise transformation initiatives and other strategic priorities.
- Partner with the VP of FP&A and senior leaders to evaluate opportunities that drive growth, improve returns, and strengthen capital discipline.
- Help ensure initiatives are supported by clear financial logic, realistic assumptions, and measurable performance expectations.
- Own the financial modeling, underlying assumptions, and business logic supporting transformation initiatives across the company.
- Build and maintain business cases, scenario analyses, sensitivity models, and reforecasting frameworks as initiatives evolve.
- Assess risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs to support informed decision-making and timely course correction.
- Translate operational plans into financially sound models that can be used to guide execution and measure impact.
- Act as a key finance partner to business leaders, operations partners, and FP&A subject matter experts to ensure broader thinking and action plans align with financial objectives.
- Influence stakeholders across functions to align strategic priorities, implementation plans, and financial expectations.
- Facilitate productive conversations across senior leadership by bringing structure, clarity, and analytical rigor to complex issues.
- Support alignment between initiative owners and finance partners as assumptions change, risks emerge, or priorities shift.
- Partner closely with Technology leadership and finance stakeholders to support disciplined investment planning for tech-enabled initiatives.
- Provide visibility into how spend is expected to flow across operating expense, capital investment, and non-recurring costs.
- Support prioritization and financial evaluation of major investments by connecting roadmap decisions to business cases and expected returns.
- Provide clear, executive-ready reporting and insights on initiative performance, evolving assumptions, and financial implications.
- Monitor actual results against plan and recommend actions to address gaps, risks, and emerging opportunities.
- Distill complex financial and operational dynamics into concise recommendations that drive alignment and action.
- Support senior leadership discussions with practical analysis, strong narrative framing, and thoughtful sensitivity analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, management consulting, transformation, or related analytical roles.
- Exceptional financial modeling skills, including scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, forecasting, and business case development.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional leaders on high-priority strategic and operational issues.
- Strong business judgment and comfort working with broad assumptions, imperfect information, and evolving priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex topics in clear, practical terms.
- Pioneering ability to influence across functions without relying solely on formal authority.
- Experience partnering on technology-related investments, enterprise initiatives, or cross-functional transformation efforts preferred.
- Experience leading or developing analysts and creating strong analytical work product within a high-expectation environment preferred.
