Director - Statistics

For our client, we are seeking a Director - Statistics to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This leader will guide statistical strategy for clinical development programs, helping shape study design, analysis plans, and regulatory-ready evidence generation. The role partners closely with clinical research, data sciences, and cross-functional teams to improve data quality, strengthen decision-making, and support compliant submissions. The ideal candidate will bring deep clinical statistics expertise, strong technical rigor, and the ability to influence scientific outcomes in a highly regulated environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $166,500 – $338,800 annually Responsibilities Lead development of clinical plans and innovative study designs Select statistical methods for data analysis and author protocol sections Collaborate with data sciences on data quality assurance plans Maintain proficiency in new statistical methodologies Perform peer reviews of statistical colleagues' work Communicate results through regulatory submissions and presentations Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures Qualifications Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics Minimum 7 years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical industry Significant experience with clinical trials and medical research Proficiency in statistical programming languages and software such as SAS, R, and Spotfire Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) and pension plan options Vacation time and paid leave benefits Employee assistance and wellness programs Company-sponsored fitness benefits Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
