Director, Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Foster an inclusive engineering culture that promotes continuous learning and diverse perspectives
• Coach and mentor managers and senior engineers for improved leadership and team effectiveness
• Plan, develop, and retain talent to meet organizational priorities
• Work with leadership to reinforce accountability and engagement culture
• Translate product strategy into prioritized engineering roadmaps and deliverables
• Collaborate with Product and Architecture to create scalable, customer-centric solutions
• Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices and improve overall team performance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Strong proficiency in specific technologies (e.g., Ruby on Rails, C#, Angular, JavaScript, AWS)
• Experience with leading distributed teams in delivering scalable systems
• Ability to drive technical initiatives and support organizational change
• Understanding of cloud utilization and total cost of technology ownership
• Proven track record in legacy application modernization

Pay

$169,000 – $213,750 annually
