Director, Site Reliability
About the role
Owns the reliability, release and operational control of the BIDS trading platform across production environments in the United States, Canada and Europe. Accountable for production deployment, incident response, disaster recovery, and the regulatory control framework that governs the operation of an alternative trading system. Leads a team spanning site reliability engineering and database administration and directs the continued evolution of hybrid of on-premises and AWS environments. The role is deliberately hands-on: the incumbent both leads the function and personally executes or supervises production change.
This is a chance to take ownership of a platform that genuinely matters, with real room to modernize how it is run rather than inherit someone else's blueprint. You will lead a small, senior team spanning site reliability engineering and database administration, and you will work across environments that are deliberately hybrid: the on-premises environments that carry regulated trading activity, alongside a growing AWS footprint you will help shape and extend.
