Position Responsibilities
- Develops and implements project and program plans aligned with the service line strategic plan.
- Involves appropriate stakeholders in plan development, monitoring, and execution.
- Researches best practices, evidence-based standards, practice bulletins, and national recommendations to support standardization of clinical practice.
- Works with key stakeholders to educate on policy and practice changes and supports implementation and monitoring of adherence.
- Provides mechanisms for measuring and monitoring volume, throughput, and quality metrics.
- Analyzes program data from various sources for reporting on service line goals and system partners.
- Facilitates discussions for program improvement action plans.
- Leads service line quality teams.
- Drives performance monitoring and accountability.
- Actively participates on various service line committees and teams.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required
- Five years of experience as a professional nurse or equivalent clinical profession, with three years recent clinical experience in a specialty-related area.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint with the ability to present data in various ways.
- BSN or other clinical BS required, with a Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensure as an RN or other clinician license/certification, with state certification as an APN in the specialty strongly preferred.
