About the role

The Service Delivery role owns the health of our client engagements after the contract is signed—scope, schedule, staffing, quality, and the client relationship itself. You are the part of the team a client calls when something is going well, and the part of the response when it isn't. This is a hands-on role at a firm without layers. You'll work directly with our delivery leads and consultants, sit in front of client executives, and have real influence over how we staff and run our work. If you want a role where you manage a dashboard and forward status decks, this isn't it.

Responsibilities

• Engagement ownership
  • Be responsible for service quality and delivery of successful project outcomes across all Windval service engagements
  • Own engagement health and take action when necessary to preserve / maintain / remedy it
  • Run governance cadences—status reviews, steering committee updates, executive readouts—with material you produce yourself
  • Provide a point of escalation for delivery issues across the Windval portfolio of projects, actively assess risk and take proactive steps to mitigate it
• Resource management
  • Own utilization forecasts for the portfolio; flag variances before they show up in a month-end close
  • Forecast staffing needs and partner with leadership on resource assignment, contractor sourcing, and bench management
• Quality and escalation
  • Establish and enforce delivery standards, documentation expectations, and handoff quality across engagements
  • Perform ongoing risk monitoring and proactive risk mitigation
  • Own escalations end to end—root cause, remediation plan, client communication, and prevention
  • Conduct post-engagement reviews and feed the findings back into how we scope and staff the next one
• Growth
  • Identify expansion opportunities inside existing accounts and partner with sales to shape them
  • Contribute to proposals, SOWs, and estimates—particularly delivery approach, staffing models, and risk assumptions
  • Build relationships with clients and partners to strengthen Windval partnerships

Requirements

• 10+ years in IT services, consulting, or managed services, with at least 3 years in a service delivery management / leadership role with project portfolio responsibility
• Track record managing technical delivery teams you don't directly employ or formally manage
• Fluency in translating between technical teams and non-technical executives—in both directions
• Comfort with ambiguity and with owning outcomes in a small-company environment where the process may not exist yet
• Willingness to travel to client sites as engagements require

Qualifications

Strongly preferred

• Background in one or more of our core areas—infra­structure and operations, cybersecurity, cloud migration, M&A/carve-out integration, or enterprise AI deployment
• Experience delivering inside large transformation programs with a fixed, externally driven deadline
• PMP, ITIL, or equivalent—useful, but no substitute for the track record
