Director, Security Investigations
About the role
We are seeking an accomplished investigations leader to serve as Director, Global Security Investigations, reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Security. This outstanding role will enable you to develop, lead, and improve Adobe’s global security investigations program—setting the strategy, standards, and operating model for security-related investigations across all regions!
What You’ll Do
- Build, implement, and lead a best-in-class global investigations program.
- Define and maintain global investigation standards, policies, procedures, and playbooks.
- Oversee all phases of the investigation lifecycle to ensure timely and detailed resolution.
- Implement and own the enterprise case management platform, analytics, and reporting to drive insights and efficiency.
- Develop and deliver investigation training programs for key partners in HR, legal, and Compliance.
- Establish KPIs and metrics, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Serve as the primary investigative coordinator, partnering with Legal, HR, Cybersecurity, and other teams.
- Lead and advance the Insider Threat Program, including detection use cases, response workflows, and awareness training.
- Benchmark the program against industry frameworks and drive continuous improvement.
- Build, guide, and lead Security investigators and program managers.
- Manage investigation-related vendor relationships.
- Develop and manage the annual investigations and insider threat budget.
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience totaling 12+ years in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in security investigations or law enforcement.
- Proven experience in maturing an investigations program within a corporate environment.
- Deep knowledge of investigative methodologies and case-management guidelines.
- Positive relationship abilities with Legal, HR, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams.
- Experience in building and managing Insider Threat Programs and detection technologies.
- Understanding of global privacy and employment laws and their impact on investigations.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25–40%.

- Advanced degrees or equivalent experience.
- Professional certifications.
- Experience in major technology companies or regulatory bodies.

Expected Pay Range
The U.S. pay range for this position is $160,800 -- $306,625 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
