About the role

As a Director, SAP Architect, you will act as a solution architect and deep functional expert, offering cross-industry expertise and the ability to correlate business needs to SAP capabilities. You will advise clients on SAP RISE discussions, drive sales opportunities, collaborate on intellectual property development, and support KPMG’s SAP AI and Build innovations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a solution architect and deep functional expert, offering cross-industry expertise and correlating business needs to SAP capabilities
  • Advise clients and provide support on SAP RISE discussions, including Bill of Material, License Optimization, Cost Structure Evaluation, Service Level Agreements, and System Landscape
  • Drive sales opportunities and deliver projects related to SAP; contribute to proposal efforts showcasing SAP capabilities
  • Collaborate in the development and enhancement of Intellectual Property (IP) within KPMG's Global SAP Community, focusing on SAP AI and Build innovations
  • Offer expert advice in support of the "Powered" SAP Build and SAP Alliances program, identifying areas for solution enhancements and new capabilities
  • Contribute to the development of new or improved KPMG methodologies and tools while promoting their usage across the organization
  • Collaborate with KPMG Leadership in designing and presenting benefits of SAP AI and Build to senior-level management of clients; support solution development for local sales opportunities, including AI
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Requirements

  • Minimum ten years of recent SAP expertise, specifically as a Platform Architect specializing in SAP architecture with experience in the Industrial Manufacturing Industry and/or Retail
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Relevant certifications or hands-on experience in the SAP AI solution portfolio and/or SAP Build
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Functional design principles in SAP RISE and GROW environments
  • Proven expertise in driving internal transformation initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Travel as required
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future (KPMG will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity)

Pay

California Salary Range: $184,870 - $324,185. Salary is determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and market considerations.
