Director Revenue Cycle Management
The position of Director Revenue Cycle Management is currently being managed by a partner company on behalf of a healthcare organization. This is a strategic leadership role based in the United States, seeking an experienced healthcare revenue cycle professional to drive operational excellence and transformation initiatives.
Accountabilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue cycle strategy focused on operational efficiency, quality improvements, and financial performance.
Lead revenue cycle governance activities, including denials management meetings and performance review sessions.
Partner with hospital leadership, operational teams, and third-party vendors to identify opportunities and implement revenue cycle improvements.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, sharing, and scaling best practices across teams and processes.
Drive measurable business outcomes through process optimization initiatives and change management methodologies.
Serve as a change leader by communicating, implementing, and reinforcing transformation initiatives across the organization.
Identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions that enhance customer experience and operational effectiveness.
Establish trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor on revenue cycle matters.
Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, business updates, and strategic recommendations.
Inspire collaboration, accountability, and engagement among project teams and stakeholders.
Monitor industry trends, healthcare regulations, and reimbursement changes to ensure organizational readiness and compliance.
Adapt priorities and initiatives in response to evolving business needs while maintaining focus on achieving performance objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management, project leadership, people management, or related strategic roles.
Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management systems and supporting technologies.
Strong understanding of healthcare billing processes, reimbursement methodologies, and revenue cycle operations preferred.
Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation initiatives and delivering measurable business improvements.
Strong project management and process improvement capabilities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with experience engaging executive audiences.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
