About the role

The Membership Coordinator will be responsible for managing and growing our membership base, ensuring a seamless experience for current and prospective members. This role involves a mix of administrative tasks, member communications, and event support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the membership database, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records.
  • Process new member applications, renewals, and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate member communications, including newsletters, event invitations, and updates.
  • Assist in planning and executing membership events, both virtual and in-person.
  • Track and report on membership metrics, including growth, retention, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the member experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Support the development and implementation of membership campaigns and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in membership coordination, customer service, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Neon, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with event planning or coordination is a plus.
