Director-Respiratory Therapy

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementation and marketing of services that meet the needs identified internal and external customers.
• Operational management of the department including but not limited to hiring, training, supervising, counseling, evaluating, all employees and maintaining regulatory requirements.
• Financial management of the department including but not limited to capital and operational budgeting, variance analysis and management of resources within financial and productivity standards.
• Leadership through communicating the BMH vision/values, coaching, monitoring, counseling, and setting of departmental policies and goals.
• Communication/Interaction with identified internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Minimum Required: Five years experience in Respiratory Care to include supervisory experience.
• Preferred/Desired: Seven years experience in Respiratory Care with three years of management/supervisory experience.
• Minimum Required: Skill and proficiency in Respiratory Care as typically associated with an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care from AMA approved program.
• Preferred/Desired: Training preferred/required.
• Minimum Required: State Respiratory Care Practitioner’s license, BLS within 14 days of hire.
