About the role
IDEAYA Biosciences is seeking a strategic Regional Marketing Lead (RML) to support the commercialization of darovasertib in metastatic uveal melanoma and future pipeline opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key academic and community thought leaders.
- Gather and communicate actionable marketplace insights to cross-functional teams.
- Identify emerging trends, stakeholders, and opportunities to strengthen IDEAYA's presence in oncology.
- Support launch planning and execution through regional strategic plans aligned with commercialization objectives.
- Provide insights to inform segmentation, targeting, messaging, and account planning.
- Partner cross-functionally to support launch readiness activities.
- Support speaker development, advisory boards, peer-to-peer education, and regional marketing programs.
- Support congress planning, stakeholder engagement, and insight generation.
- Manage vendors and budgets to ensure efficient execution.
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, Sales, Training, and Commercial Operations.
- Ensure compliant engagement aligned with company strategy.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement best practices.
- Significant Travel within the U.S. a minimum of 50% (10 days per month or 6 weeks per quarter).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of biotech/pharma experience, preferably in oncology.
- Experience in marketing and sales or thought leader engagement.
- Rare oncology and launch experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with oncology thought leaders and execute launch strategies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
- Ability to travel extensively.
