About the role

Responsibilities
- Set direction for area(s) of responsibility to achieve desired goals in alignment with function and/or discipline strategy with quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Leverage knowledge and experience in area of expertise to identify and implement improvements to business processes.
- Evaluate alternatives and make judgements on a full range of business issues.
- Provide ongoing advice and guidance to the business concerning issues related to area of specialty.
- Create new and improved F&B experiences that drive incremental revenues and increase guest experience scores on GSS.
- Manage large and/or multiple departments, processes, and/or projects that have a broader function and/or discipline impact.
- Influence work of cross-functional or extended teams.
- Makes department/multi-department resource decisions that have a financial impact as well as an impact on meeting discipline and/or business goals.
- Enhance the organization's capabilities through effective staffing and development of others by developing recruiting strategies, using appropriate interviewing tools to hire top management talent, setting and maintaining high standards for team and individual performance, providing timely coaching and feedback, and making and rewarding distinctions in performance.
- Lead by example, F&B succession planning, and talent nurturing.
- Aid senior management and corporate F&B team in achieving business results by contributing to the development of long-term function and/or discipline strategy, sharing relevant information to help others understand and support business objectives, achieving results against budget within scope of responsibility, building relationships across the organization to align own technical area with broader organization direction and facilitate own function and discipline goals, and removing barriers to achieve greater performance.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, 10+ years progressive experience in food & beverage.
- Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Experience in food & beverage/hotel industry preferred – multi unit desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years food & beverage experience at two different venues as Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef or Director of Restaurants.
- Strong food & beverage and quality assurance skills, including experience with strategic planning, budgeting, negotiating and interpreting contracts, SOPs and project management.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrix organization.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to independently manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results under challenging conditions, even when faced with complexity and ambiguity.
- Experience evaluating business trends and developing and successfully implementing new business programs and strategies that enhance multi-unit business performance.
- Demonstrated success in evaluating risks and developing proactive strategies and plans to mitigate business issues.
- Knowledgeable in managing owner relations issues is preferred.

- Ability to articulate and gain support from others.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with market team members, Resort Executive Committee leadership and Resort management.
- Strong understanding of resort operations and the market.

Pay
Pay Range: $150,000 - $160,000 + Bonus Eligible
