Director, Regional Communications
About the role
As a Director, Regional Communications you will develop and execute communication strategies that strengthen visibility for regional priorities, business milestones, and recognition programs. You will partner with regional leaders, marketing, Human Resources, and cross-functional teams to create clear, audience-focused communications and manage awards submissions that highlight business impact, innovation, and leadership across Fiserv.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of regional communications that support business priorities, leadership visibility, associate engagement, and market presence
- Partner with regional leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to develop communication plans, messaging frameworks, and content aligned to key initiatives and milestones
- Write, edit, and publish content across channels including email, intranet, newsletters, presentations, announcements, and external-facing materials as needed
- Manage the end-to-end awards process, including identifying opportunities, gathering inputs, developing submission content, coordinating reviews, and tracking outcomes
- Build and maintain an awards calendar and submission pipeline that aligns recognition opportunities to business achievements, innovation, and leadership priorities
- Develop concise, credible, and audience-focused messaging that translates complex information into clear communications for internal and external audiences
- Track communication and awards performance using measurable outcomes, stakeholder feedback, and reporting to improve future planning and execution
- Ensure communications and awards materials are accurate, timely, and aligned to the Fiserv brand voice and review standards
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, corporate communications, employee communications, marketing communications, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience writing, editing, and publishing content for multiple audiences across internal and external communication channels
- 8+ years of experience developing communication plans, messaging frameworks, and content strategies for business initiatives in complex organizations
- Experience managing award submissions, recognition programs, nominations, or similar high-visibility content processes
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, align messaging, and deliver communication outcomes
- Bachelor's degree
Qualifications
- Experience supporting regional or international communications programs
- Experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or a regulated industry
- Experience with intranet platforms, content management systems, project tracking tools, or analytics dashboards
- Experience supporting executive communications, thought leadership, or event-related communications
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing

Pay
$114,000.00 - $192,000.00 These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
Schedule
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
