Description Develop and direct a recruitment team that is able to source, identify and deliver qualified, competent candidates who are closely aligned with the BHSF mission and values and growth initiatives. A leader who has a proven track record of increasing external clinical (Registered nurse and allied health professionals, non- physician hires year over year by developing, teaching, and working with their recruiters and team members. Continue to lead and add to the successful adoption of AI tools that can be proven to drive ROI for the recruiting team in conjunction with existing software. Manage and oversee complex vendor negotiations and relations for large scale projects. Identify and track recruitment methods to ensure positions are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner. Develop and recommend company strategies to improve recruitment and retention in the organization. Develop and recommends unique and creative sourcing and recruiting strategies to fulfill the aggressive growth goals of Baptist Health South Florida. Compile and analyze recruitment and retention data. Supervises the implementation of initiatives related to recruiting and retaining a talented and engaged workforce. Prior experience with EPIC EHR implementations and upgrades is required. The ideal candidate will drive growth in the organization not by adding new software but by building a highly successful recruiting team. The ideal candidate will also have prior experience leading a contingent perm or temp staffing team as an external vendor. This individual will lead with a sense of urgency to staff all current and future growth opportunities in the organization. Essential Job Functions Establishes and maintains working relationships with leadership, management and employees. Regularly exercises strategic mindset, political and organizational savvy, judgment, discretion and decision-making skills to achieve the quality talent BHSF needs. Consults with AVP of Talent Acquisition as needed. May assume department leadership responsibilities in absence of the AVP.Responsible for negotiation, management to agreed upon KPI’s, and successful results of complex vendor relations in partnership with SCM and Legal for large recruitment vendors in the delivery space such as crisis staffing, RPO, Retained Search, EPIC EHR staffing, and perm placement vendors including centralized sourcing vendors.Responsible for selected large scale new builds and acquisitions to ensure all staff needed to open will be hired and ensure a smooth transition for growth.Responsible for Executive Recruiting for selected AVP and above positions.Researches and benchmarks BHSF TA function at multiple levels to strategize and advise on process changes.Collaborates with all HR teams to ensure compliance and effectiveness of on boarding. Is the HR Subject Matter Expert for recruitment matters within scope of assigned tasks.Develops and works within a budget which is adequate to meet recruitment objectives in a cost effective manner.Ensures the recruitment/selection process is fair to all and in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.Directly, manages a recruitment team as needed consisting of employed and temporary staff to build a recruiting function that delivers quality applicants for growth initiatives.Functions as internal consultant to leadership, recruiters and applicants regarding all recruitment/talent acquisition issues. Maintains high level of knowledge on current employment laws. Leads and develops short and long term recruitment strategy, identifies and attracts qualified candidates to meet staffing needs. As well as other duties assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business, Human Resource Management or related field required. Master's degree in a related field preferred. Minimum 7 plus years of experience in a high–volume healthcare recruitment environment focusing on registered nurse and allied health professional hiring as a proven successful recruiter with at least an additional 5 plus years in a managerial capacity leading clients and/or recruitment teams in a healthcare organization. Prior years of experience leading a non-physician staffing firm as an external vendor is required demonstrating a focus on sense of urgency. Ability to lead, train, and drive the recruiters by getting highly involved in helping them make more hires and overcome objections from hiring leaders and applicants. Extensive experience in healthcare recruiting is required and not trainable. Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of leadership in large complex organizations in multiple industries. Experience designing unique and creative small and large-scale HR solutions required. Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational and project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple priorities. Proficiency in multiple software systems and ATS programs. Successful experience using AI tools to drive ROI in the TA function is required. Ideal applicant must have the ability and desire to execute this role with a large degree of leadership by the numbers, KPI’s, expectations, and training of individual recruiters and the TA team within the existing TA tech stack.
