Director, Real World Evidence

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Real World Evidence to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will shape and execute real-world evidence strategies that support product differentiation, evidence generation, and informed decision-making across the organization. The position will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to lead research initiatives, strengthen data-driven insights, and advance the company’s understanding of treatment outcomes in real-world settings. The Director will also help build operational processes, assess data assets, and ensure the organization stays current with evolving RWE methods and best practices. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $204,000 – $306,000 annually Responsibilities Develop real-world evidence strategies in collaboration with internal partners Drive RWE innovation and communicate effectively with stakeholders Lead the design and execution of RWE research projects Provide RWE leadership across internal cross-functional teams Develop operational processes for daily RWE activities Assess real-world data assets and establish data curation plans Stay current with research on RWE methodology Qualifications PhD in epidemiology or a related discipline with research experience Experience analyzing healthcare claims databases and EMR data Familiarity with U.S. and global healthcare delivery systems Experience designing, collecting, and analyzing RWE using administrative claims datasets Strong analytical skills to support project management and financial reporting Experience with big data analytical platforms Track record of peer-reviewed publications in RWE Demonstrated strategic skills for innovative product differentiation Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k retirement savings plan Flexible paid vacation Discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation Discretionary equity grants Total compensation packages that are market competitive Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
