Director, Quality Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Quality Operations to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead quality operations with a strong emphasis on HEDIS reporting, audit readiness, and data integrity across the organization. The Director will serve as a key partner to clinical and non-clinical teams to improve quality measure performance and close gaps in care. This position will also oversee a small team while driving process improvements, training, and reliable reporting support. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $125,000 – $165,000 annually Responsibilities Serve as the HEDIS subject matter expert, ensuring deep knowledge of measure specifications and reporting requirements Lead audit readiness and participation, including preparation and documentation Drive data accuracy and completeness, identifying and closing gaps before submission to partners Manage and optimize the third-party HEDIS engine, overseeing data inputs and outputs Maintain an accurate view of member gaps in care, collaborating with various teams for reliable data support Lead and develop a small team of Managers and Senior Associates Evaluate and improve system processes to address data quality issues, providing necessary training Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to implement initiatives supporting quality measure performance Qualifications Master's degree in healthcare, such as MHA, MBA, or MPH, required; clinical experience is a plus 7+ years in a healthcare setting with a focus on quality reporting and operations Demonstrated expertise in HEDIS, including hands-on audit experience Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets; coding experience is a plus Proven track record in improving data completeness and accuracy for quality reporting Experience with HEDIS engines Benefits Health insurance Life insurance Retirement benefits Participation in the company's equity program Paid time off, including vacation and sick leave Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
