About the role
This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement site contamination control strategies based on risk assessments and global quality procedures
- Act as a subject matter expert in microbiology and contamination control for CCME teams and corporate quality
- Analyze and remediate environmental monitoring trends across PSG network cleanrooms
- Oversee complex investigations and define corrective measures for microbiological deviations and improvements
- Provide guidance on facility and process design to ensure contamination controls in manufacturing contexts
- Support digitalization and innovation initiatives within PSG sites
- Ensure inspection readiness across all activities related to contamination control
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotech, or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in sterile/low bioburden pharmaceutical manufacturing or microbiology roles
- Strong grasp of aseptic manufacturing and cleanroom classification
- Deep knowledge of GMP, Annex 1 (2022 revision), and FDA aseptic guidance
- Understanding of barrier technologies and their implementation
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with regulatory inspections and audit defense

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $145,500 – $218,250 annually
