Director, Quality

Responsibilities
- Participates with other leadership team members to establish strategic plans and objectives.
- Develops proactive solutions and implements quality department strategies across the organization.
- Implements and maintains quality metrics for management and customer review.
- Conducts and supports regular quality conference calls with customers and suppliers.
- Works internally with production, engineering, warehouse, program managers, sales, and supply chain management team members to meet quality specifications.
- Assesses and evaluates the organization’s quality processes for verification, control, and assurance, including calibration.
- Manages the activities and objectives of the site quality managers and supervisors.
- Coaches their subordinates to maintain a continuous quality improvement environment.
- Interprets and executes policies and procedures that affect subordinate work.
- Influences the development of failure analysis, corrective actions, and preventative actions.
- Measures effectiveness of actions ensuring conformity with quality specifications.
- Exhibits a strong data collection and analytical knowledge, leading to root cause analysis and problem resolution.
- Requires proficiency in spreadsheet creation and calculation.
- Executes internal audits for the QMS and EMS related to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Coordinates and participates in regulatory factory audits.
- Manages and maintains document control for agency compliance, manufacturing documentation, training records, and calibration logs.
- Performs additional assessment and analysis as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet internal and customer deadlines.
- Experience and understanding of product manufacturing processes and influences; server/rack manufacturing experience is helpful.
- Quality systems training, including experience maintaining ISO 9001/14001 within a manufacturing organization.
- An understanding of SPC principles/tools is helpful.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment across functions to produce expected results.
Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $159,500 - $185,700. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs.
