Director, Project Management - Oncology

This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track in a life sciences environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage collaboration within project teams for global clinical trials
  • Provide leadership and oversight for clinical programs and activities as necessary
  • Act as primary point of escalation for sponsors beyond project management issues
  • Optimize project management profitability to meet budget targets
  • Manage resource allocation to ensure quality, cost, and time goals are achieved
  • Support project managers with technical guidance on scope, risk management, and deliverables
  • Measure KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in clinical research with a focus on project management and line management
  • Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and clinical development processes
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration

Pay

$162,000 – $243,000 annually
