About the role
Parexel is seeking a Director, Project Leadership (Director, Project Management) for a home-based position. This role requires extensive experience in oncology, managing clinical trials across domestic and international phases. Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and patient-focused clinical trials
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to identify project requirements and develop project plans
- Provide leadership as the 'go-to person' for issues both internal and external
- Maintain and develop relationships with assigned customers
- Provide leadership to help obtain new business and deliverables on time and on budget
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Work with a diverse set of clients and therapeutic areas
- Take on new challenges and pursue personal interests
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a science or health-related field, advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10-15 years clinical research experience, with at least 10 years in Project Management, focusing on leading oncology studies across phases
- Proven record of team building and leadership skills
- Strong client interaction, conflict resolution, and risk management skills
- Strong financial knowledge
- Experience in oncology working across clinical phases
- Extensive experience in CROs preferred
