Director, Project Development

About the role

The Director, Project Development will lead the development and origination of new energy projects, including feasibility studies, project structuring, and securing financing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans and strategies
• Manage the feasibility study process for potential projects
• Structure and negotiate project finance deals
• Secure project financing from various sources
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project alignment and success
• Identify and evaluate new project opportunities
• Prepare and present project proposals to investors and lenders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in project development and origination
• Proven track record of successfully developing and closing projects
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of project finance
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy projects is preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance processes
• Experience with project management tools and software

$200,000 - $250,000 annually
