Director - Production

For our client, we are seeking a Director - Production to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead commercial mortgage and equity investment origination within a dynamic real estate investing platform. You will build relationships across borrowers, partners, and the brokerage community while evaluating opportunities, advancing transactions, and supporting portfolio activity. The position requires close collaboration with senior leadership, internal counsel, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute investments from initial review through closing and ongoing servicing. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually Responsibilities Originate, close, and manage new commercial mortgage and equity investments Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers, partners, and the brokerage community Evaluate new investment requests based on investment criteria Present investment recommendations to senior management and collaborate with team members Draft and negotiate loan-related documents with internal counsel support Coordinate with stakeholders to manage the closing process for transactions Service a portion of the commercial loan portfolio, including annual ratings and modifications Travel within the region for meetings and industry events Qualifications MBA or master's degree in real estate or finance preferred 5+ years of experience in underwriting, appraisal, and valuation of commercial properties Experience in origination and negotiation of mortgage loans or real estate equity investments Proven relationship-building and networking skills with clients Strong understanding of major asset classes and capital markets in commercial real estate Excellent analytical, quantitative, negotiation, and communication skills Proficient in Excel and capable of managing multiple tasks independently Benefits Collaborative work environment that supports professional growth Opportunities for networking within the commercial real estate sector Engagement in diverse asset classes and investment strategies Access to internal resources and counsel for document preparation Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
