Director, Product Quality Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Product Quality Lead to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This remote leadership role will oversee product quality activities supporting late-phase clinical and commercial programs. The position will partner closely with R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and quality stakeholders to strengthen quality risk management and drive compliant product development. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $172,000 – $232,000 annually Responsibilities Represent the Quality organization in governance meetings and forums. Serve as a subject matter expert for quality risk assessments and complex issue resolution. Lead product quality network teams supporting late-phase clinical and commercial programs. Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to embed quality considerations in product development. Monitor product quality performance and drive improvements. Support development and implementation of quality risk management frameworks for compliance. Lead cross-functional teams to strengthen quality systems and address challenges. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in quality sciences or a related field in a regulated industry; Master’s degree preferred with 10+ years of experience. 5 years of managerial experience leading teams or projects. Strong PC literacy with MS Office and statistical modeling software experience, including Minitab, JMP, and Tableau. Expertise in regulatory requirements including FDA and EMA, and risk management frameworks such as ICH Q9. Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, including root cause analysis, Lean, and Six Sigma.
