Position Overview
We're looking for a Director of Product Marketing to lead positioning, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and storytelling across a growing and increasingly complex product portfolio. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who has thrived inside a fast-growing company, particularly one that has scaled rapidly through acquisitions and mergers, and who knows how to bring clarity, focus, and momentum to multiple products, audiences, and product releases and launches at once. This is a hands-on role for a product marketing leader who is also an exceptional writer and editor.

What You'll Do
- Own product marketing release strategy across multiple products, solutions, and market segments.
- Develop and refine positioning, messaging, and value propositions that clearly differentiate products in competitive markets.
- Balance short-term launch execution with long-term portfolio and platform narratives.
- Bring structure and cohesion to product lines shaped by mergers or acquisitions.
- Lead end-to-end GTM marketing planning for new product releases and launches, major enhancements, and market expansions.
- Build comprehensive GTM packages for internal and external use, including: Launch plans and timelines, Sales enablement materials (decks, battlecards, talk tracks, FAQs), External messaging, and promotional schedules, Direct ownership of key written assets such as product page copy, brochures, campaign emails, and launch messaging.
- Partner closely with Demand Generation and Client Marketing to ensure launches are supported by strong, coordinated campaigns.
- Work deeply embedded with Sales to understand buyer needs, target markets, objections, and deal dynamics. Enable Sales with clear messaging, toolkits, and training that improve confidence and conversion.
- Collaborate really closely with Product and Product Management to influence roadmap discussions, market prioritization, messaging and launch readiness.
- Serve as a product evangelist internally, ensuring teams understand not just what the product does, but why it matters to prospects and clients.
- Act as the external advocate for the product, through clear positioning and messaging of value, customer storytelling, and participation in events, conferences, webinars, or briefings as needed.
- Gather and synthesize market, customer, and competitive insights to continuously sharpen messaging and GTM strategy.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience in progressive roles in product marketing, ideally within a fast-growing B2B or SaaS company.
- Proven experience navigating rapid growth, acquisitions, or mergers, and successfully marketing products through periods of change.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple products, segments, and launches simultaneously without losing clarity or momentum.
- Strong track record of building and executing successful GTM strategies—from internal enablement to external market activation.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership.
- Exceptional writing and copy writing and editing skills, with experience producing polished, high-performing product marketing content.
- You are comfortable being the person who ensures the message is right - and written well.
- Experience working together with Demand Gen, Client Marketing and Client Success to drive adoption, pipeline, and growth.
- Hightly organized, strategic thinker who can zoom out to the big picture while driving crisp execution.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and energized by complexity and scale.
